Our Staff

Sharon has been teaching since 1985, and she began working at ALCS in 1999. She became a Christian in 1973 while attending a revival meeting. Sharon is committed to Christian education because it prepares students to serve the Lord in any profession they choose by serving with Faith and a desire to change their world. Her long-term goals include serving the Lord through Christian education, supporting her husband's church leadership, and enjoying her children and grandchildren. One of Sharon's talents is baking bread for family, friends, and students, and she shows her school spirit by telling people about ALCS and seeking people who want to participate in Christian education.

Amanda has been working at ALCS since 2025 and has been a teacher since 2026. She has been a Christian since 2023 and has a desire to serve the Lord through Christian education. She wants to be a part of spreading the Word of God to the younger generation. Some of her special talents include arts & crafts and cooking!

Ethel has been working with children since 2023 and has been a part of ALCS since 2026. Christian education is important to her because it helps build moral character, and it helps surround learners with mentors, peers, and teachers who share and encourage the same core beliefs. Her long-term goals are to learn more about early education and eventually transition to higher education. One special skill she brings is an understanding of the patience it takes to nurture growth.

Rachelle has been a part of ALCS since May 2026. She came to Christ in 2018. Christian education is important to her because it provides a foundation of faith, teaching children about God's love, kindness, respect, honesty, and compassion. One of her talents is the ability to understand children's interests and create activities that engage them and encourage their curiosity,

Yiselle has been teaching for 3 years and has worked at ALCS for 5 months. She became a Christian at 17 years old and says Christian education is important to her because it nurtures both academic excellence and strong moral values that help students grow in faith. Her long-term career goals are to complete her education and continue building a meaningful career in early childhood education. One of her hidden talents is easily connecting with kids and making them feel safe and understood.

Amanda joined ALCS in 2024 and was baptized when she was 13 years old. She says God blessed her with a heart toward service. She is quick to help where He leads her! Her long-term goal is to improve her skills and abilities through new experiences so she can expand her productivity and personal development.  Amanda appreciates Matthew 19:14 when Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me." She believes that Christians' should be committed to teaching our children spiritual principles which lead them to fulfill His commands. Amanda supports Christian education because she says children should know the Bible is the only source of absolute truth, and it should be studied to strengthen individual faith and a personal relationship with God (II Timothy 3:16-17).
